12V Battery Charging System

ABSTRACT

The “12V battery charging system” is designed to charge 12V battery of specific ampere hour(Ah). Battery chargers connected to the batteries are together referred to as battery charging systems. In this system, AC voltage is lowered. After AC is lowered, it is converted into DC using a full wave rectifier. Here, the noise is reduced by using a filter circuit. After this, a circuit for auto cut off is designed thus by using a relay and transistor so that the system would avoid overcharging. Various steps such as internet study, market research, electronic components analysis were done on this project. Furthermore, our designated system shall make sure that no charge overflows to the battery. This means that the flow of charge to the battery is continued till it is fully charged.
